Welcome to Epping Forest District Museum's Local History Website for Schools

This website has been developed by Epping Forest District Museum
in partnership with Buckhurst Hill Community Primary School and
St John's C of E Primary School, Buckhurst Hill.

It aims to help pupils at schools within the Epping Forest District
investigate local history using a range of original source material
from different historical periods. Of course, anyone is welcome
to explore the site and find out more about the history of this
beautiful corner of south west Essex.
